Today my close friend told me:
“After the butcher’s cart — this feels like why you fight.”
And those words stayed with me.
Because tonight is quiet. Warm. Full of soft breathing and little bodies sleeping without fear.
Some days I feel completely used up. Like I’ve given everything and there is nothing left.
And then there is this.
Rescued lives sleeping peacefully.
Fear turned into safety.
Chaos turned into calm.
This is the opposite energy.
And I need these evenings to remember my “why.”
When it feels like I am already perfectly enough —
this reminds me why I continue.
