Started as an unofficial animal rescue in 2013. In 2014, it gained official nonprofit organization status and was then officially named the Organization Paw of Help and Shelter Ugolyok.
At Wardog we save injured and abandoned dogs from countries at war, provide shelter and treatment while they recover, and help find loving homes to adopt them.
Volunteers venture into the devastated cities such as Irpin and Bucha to seek the cats, trapped or simply lost in the ruins and bring them to our shelter.
Calves are forcefully separated from their mothers only a few hours after they are born so that they can’t even take a sip from their mother’s milk which is farmers’ profit.
We save animals from neglect, abuse, abandonment, slaughter, and life-threatening conditions — including those left behind in rural areas, farms, and urban streets.
War Zone Evacuation
We carry out rescue missions in conflict-affected areas, evacuating animals from active war zones and devastated regions. Our goal is to offer immediate safety and long-term recovery.
Rehabilitation
Our team provides medical treatment, emotional support, and species-appropriate environments to help animals recover from trauma, illness, or injury.
Lifetime Care
For animals that cannot be adopted due to age, disability, or trauma, U Shelter offers permanent sanctuary. They live freely and peacefully with access to care and companionship for the rest of their lives.
